Reading "Harrison Bergeron"

Quick Write: I don't think as of today we are truly equal with the rights of men and woman. However, I believe we will get there it is difiantly a process but us women today are equiped to stand up and level the plain feild between the two genders.

Final reflection: During 2081 their mindset is a fixed mindset because their stay with what work for everyone. Their saying no one is truly equal and how in order to make equality stand true you have you dumb people down. Harrison is very intelligent and is a threat to their society so allowing one man to have that muchintelligence with everyone being handicap is their disadvantage.
I decided to create Adam and Eve because I believe this is th time when literally everything was perfect. There was no evil in the world yet and nothing to corrupt the minds yet.

  1. Great vision of utopia. Actually the Garden of Eden was probably the original utopia. It all went downhill from there! You got it right about the fictional society of 2081 but you did not say what point you think Vonnegut was trying to make when he wrote this story. What do you infer about his opinion?
Did you proofread this??? It's missing words and has many unfortunate misspellings. There, their, and they're
